These past 5 weeks have been one of the absolute best in terms of my fitness journey. For a few years now, I have tried different types of customized exercise regimen from other trainers, intense diets, boot camps, but none of these were able to help me change my mindset to continue and want to keep exercising and being healthy. I have a really hectic schedule of going to pharmacy school full-time and work 20-24 hours a week on top of that. Not only did I not have the time, but I hated going to the gym. I was that person who went to gym and stayed on the treadmill the whole time, miserable because I was too intimidated to try the machines or weights, and primarily because I had no idea what set of exercises are good for me. With this program, and the amazing app Anne uses in this program, I honestly felt that she was explaining how to do everything step by step. With the app, you can watch the video as many times as you want and at your own pace to have a better understanding. For the first time, I had a clear game plan of what I needed to do in the gym each day. I re-started my gym membership and I learned to make time to work out. There was a change in my mindset of wanting to workout so I made sure to go during my lunch break or on my only off day. Throughout the weeks, I even noticed how much stronger I got with the exercises themselves. Something that I struggled with week 1, I was able to handle it with ease with a heavier weight by week 3. Sometimes I had 14 hour days including workouts but I had the energy. The check-ins from Anne was also such a special treat. Just by talking to her about your personal struggles, she was able to motivate you and also help you train your mind on changing your perception. I plan to continue with this program because as mentioned before, this is something that not only helped me get stronger physically, but it also helped me mentally.
