I have been following Coach Anne Phung on Instagram for a while now. I came across her page randomly, and I was immediately inspired by her content. I saw this beautiful, strong, and independent woman living her best life. Sorry, if that sounds cliché.  Anne inspired me with every aspect of her life: fitness and well-being; relationships between family, friends, and S/O; education; business.  She tries to be as transparent as possible with her life in hopes that she can inspire and help others. And, she has done just that for me. I did not even know her, and she made me feel not alone.  I felt we had a lot in common in regards to life; our mutual struggles in past relationships, our fitness journeys, changing careers, money and finances, and just our journey for self love.  All this inspired me to finally join one of her jumpstart programs. I was honestly scared at first. Haha. I was so nervous to try something new, but it ended being one of the best decisions of my life.

I have been on my fitness journey for a few years now; just trying to lose weight, to tone up, and to find a balanced, healthy lifestyle. I have also worked with a couple other trainers before as well. While I have learned a lot through these years and I have made progress, I feel like my results and overall well-being was always up and down.  Mainly because I was trying to live a fit lifestyle that really was not making me happy.  Coach Anne changed all that. Coach Anne is different.  She cares about a client's health inside and out.  She understands that for us to create healthier habits and to become more disciplined with wanting to better ourselves and wanting to make our health a priority, we have to be happy how we are doing it. This means working on our mindset and our emotions.  This means finding balance within our own lives that works for us.  Coach Anne is not trying to give us quick fixes. She is trying to help us develop a healthy lifestyle that with garnish steady progress with lifelong results.

I have completed three programs with Coach Anne, and I have no intentions on stopping any time soon.  I have lost weight and gained muscle; my endurance has greatly improved (I was not a much of a runner before, and now I run almost everyday with hopes of running a marathon one day); my relationship with food is a lot better (I have never been told what to eat or what not to eat; I have just been guided on how to manage the fuel that I loved); my mindset is stronger (I have learned how to be more disciplined and how to set goals to make them more attainable); my self love is improving (this is definitely something I'm always working on, but I am learning how to make my mental health a priority). Overall, I have learned that being healthy is a lot more than physical appearance.  I feel good not just on the outside, but more importantly, on the inside.   This was possible because of Coach Anne.

She has built a program that helps you grow as an individual without her literally forcing a change to happen over night, which will only bounce you back to where you once were. Coach Anne wants you to put in the work because YOU want to put in the work.  It starts with yourself. She never forces anything; she just inspires and encourages. Her program also surrounds you with other like minded ladies; a community of truly amazing, strong women building each up and not tearing each other down.  That support in itself has helped me tremendously with my focus and my discipline, and my self love.  We all have never met before, but we all so graciously welcome each other with open arms. No judgment.  And, Coach Anne provides all this at an affordable cost. Seriously. With everything this program offers, the time she puts into the workouts, and her own personal time responding and engaging with all of us, the program is worth a lot more than what Coach Anne asks for.

I am sure there is more I can say, but I will stop here. Haha. I will forever be grateful for this experience, for the ladies I have shared it with, and for Coach Anne. I know I am walking ahead as a much stronger and better version of me.
